Welcome to the website of the American School of Durango.  The American School of Durango is an accredited school by the Mexican Ministry of Education, the Autonomous Mexican National University and by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Council on Accreditation and School Improvement.  We have been serving the community of Durango and International students since 1954.  We are a K-12 school.  

Our Mission and Vision is our commitment to “educate the whole child”, to think critically and creativity, to be a problem solver through innovation, investigation, communication and collaboration.  We are also committed to develop students who are resilient and adaptable life-long learning and who possess the skills and universal values needed to contribute to the global society.

Collaboration is a very valued aspect of ASD life.  We have a strong, united and committed Board, Council of Asociados, Parent Association and Student Council in Elementary, Middle and High School.
